3D Class Week 10 Creating A Medium Complexity Character Part 01 GameRes Model and UV's

In this section we will look at modeling a medium level complex character in Maya and setting up all of our UV. this will prepare a mesh for us to push into ZBrush for sculpting.

Artist will be required to build the character and accessories for the character. (Above example is an option for both color of the character and also the accessories for the character, you are free to design your own color patterns along with your own idea for the accessories.)

Character needs to be under 3,000 polys along with 2,048 textures. Accessories need to be under 1,500 polys and 1,024 textures.

 Fist we will set up our imageplanes for modeling and establish our scale. Then we will set up a negative instance to model only one side and had the other side auto update.

Show off your modeling work along with the wireframes.

Then show off the work you completed for UVs on your model.
